Channeling My Inner Narcissism – Anniversary Competition

Unfortunately, I have to have a break from the blogging world over the next few days. I am finalising the house move, marking ridiculous amounts of coursework, still attempting to recover from the infection I had a few weeks ago and trying not to get cross at Wobbly, my 19 year old cat, as she has recently developed the rather annoying habit of waking me up at 4am.

However, I had an idea (although technically, I’ve completely stolen this idea – I will add the links to these later as my iPad won’t allow me to copy text at the minute for some reason).

In a few weeks time Suzie81 Speaks will be having it’s first year anniversary and to celebrate I am going to channel my inner narcissism, in the form of a competition that you can take part in.

For the next THREE days, I am giving you the opportunity to ask me one question in the comment section below. The question has to be appropriate (I am not answering any questions about my sex life – some of my family and friends read this), and any questions that are deemed to be racist, sexist or judgemental will be ignored and deleted.

On the anniversary of my blog I will answer every single question, along with a link to your blog.

The author of the best question that is submitted over the next three days will win TWO WEEKS of free advertising on Suzie81 Speaks, starting from the first week in May. I will create you a button, display it on my page and promote it on all my social networking sites. In order to enter you also have to be a follower of this blog.

So, lovely readers, get asking your question! Reblog, share, tweet, pin… Tell all your friends! Note: I am not going to reply to the questions now, so I’d like to thank you in advance for joining in!

You can also find me on Twitter and Tumblr @Suzie81blog

Hope your days away are not to stressed, Hurry back and don’t forget the postcard 🙂

    • May I answer this one Suzie 😉
string (theory) is a theoretical framework in which the point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. In string theory, the different types of observed elementary particles arise from the different quantum states of these strings. In addition to the types of particles postulated by the standard model of particle physics, string theory naturally incorporates gravity, and is therefore a candidate for a theory of everything, a self-contained mathematical model that describes all fundamental forces and forms of matter. Aside from this hypothesized role in particle physics, string theory is now widely used as a theoretical tool in physics, and it has shed light on many aspects of quantum field theory and quantum gravity.

      Sorry I couldn’t resist 🙂

  2. Okay i have a good one. I was talking to my dad about my blog last night and he said i got a topic for you. So i was like what? And he said, WHAT DO WOMEN WANT? So that is my question for you. In your opinion what do women want?

  3. What do you find most rewarding about teaching? My sons had some phenomenal teachers over the years. I always wondered what motivated them and made them so good at what they did.

  4. Happy Almost Blogiversary, Susie! Feel better and remember to pace yourself and BREATHE. 🙂

I you were won the lottery (more money than you would ever need, for life) what three things would you do with it?

    What is your life’s motto?

  5. A box of books you just packed away takes a tumble and lands directly on your big toe and you respond by saying: a) ouch! b) f*&# c) BIEBER, you bastard! d) other (please state).

  6. Mark Twain once said that “the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Obviously you have already been born, so my question to you is have you found out why? Xx

  7. Think Dr. Who. If you were able to time travel, (without changing past, present or future) where would you go? Of course, you would take the Bloke with you, but who else? (You can pick anyone, living or deceased.)

  8. Congratulations, Suzie!

As a teacher, do you think it’s more effective to be lenient or demanding with your students? Or something in between?

  9. If there was only one book you could take with you to a remote island where you would be for a couple of years and where you would have no access to other reading material of any sort, what would that one book be?

  10. Happy anniversary! You really have amassed a following here. I remember the post that grabbed my attention but I don’t recall how I stumbled upon your blog. No matter, glad to be a regular reader.

    Who are your favorite authors?

  11. Congratulations on your blogiversary! One of your blogging tip posts definitely helped me along the way in my first few weeks. I think I’m too late for the question, but alas, here ya go: Would you rather travel back in time or into the future. 🙂
