Twitter Party: #SundayBlogShare

It took me a long time to add social media accounts to my blog and it has always been one of my biggest blogging regrets that I didn’t start sooner, as they are now responsible for about 75% of my overall traffic. Twitter, in particular, is a great way to share my posts and ideas immediately, and there is the possibility that posts could reach thousands if promoted by enough people.

I’ve decided to do a Twitter party in which all bloggers can share their posts and meet new people. It is going to be going on all day so feel free to join in at any time. Here is what you do:

1. Choose one of your favourite recent blog posts.

2. Share the link.

3. Use the hashtag #SundayBlogShare

You can also find me on Twitter and Tumblr @suzie81blog.

  1. Absolutely love this idea, Suzie. Thank you for inviting us all to the party. I participated and am all ready looking forward to next Sunday so I can party again (plus there’s an extra hour on Sunday this week as the clocks go back by one hour).

  2. Great idea, I’d love to join in 🙂

In case you are not already aware, there are other hashtags on twitter through the week that work the same/similar way as your idea.

On Mondays #MondayBlogs share any post, read & RT others (no book promo, just blog posts)
On wednesdays #wwwblogs (I think it stands for – woman who write blogs)
And on Saturdays #ArchiveDay – share old posts, read & RT others.

Thanks for giving us a Sunday meme Suzie, see you over there :o)

    Take care, Kimmie x

    • Thanks! I participate in Monday Blogs and wwwblogs and have met a ton of new people there! It occurred to me that the busiest blogging day was Sundays, so I thought I’d create a Twitter party for then and see what happens. It turns out, it was quite successful so I’m doing it again this week…
