Ok, it isn’t totally wordless… The Bloke and I spent the afternoon at La Sagrada Familia, and despite the fact that neither of us have any religious beliefs, we were quite emotional about the sheer beauty of it…

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Gaudi’s strangely beautiful masterpiece. There’s nothing else like it!
I totally agree – I was completely moved by it!
I love the Sagrada Familia – I visited last year and couldn’t get over how stunning it is inside! Hope you’re having a great time 🙂
It’s gorgeous isn’t it! I had seen photographs of it but had no ide how it would affect me when I walked in!
Hope your vacation is going well!
Thanks Austin!
I check the mailbox every day for the postcard I just know you’re going to send! 🙂
DM me your address on Twitter and I’ll send you one!
I was just teasing. If I got anything other than a bill in the mail, my mailbox would explode. 🙂
aww – I got some awesome postcards! Or would you rather get one from Birmingham instead?
So hard to decide. 🙂
Well let me know when you do!
WOW!
I know! I was totally blown away by it…
I’m jealous of your photography skills. In Thursdays post I’m also going to encourage people to go look at your pictures because the ones I took there weren’t nearly as good as yours. Tell Anita and Richard I said hello.
Thanks very much Phil!
How extraordinary the architecture, Gaudi was amazing, one of a kind genius – glad to know you’re having a great time. Have fun eating and adventuring your way through Barcelona. Wish I could be with you.
I could have spent all day looking at it… Just unbelievable!
Utterly stunning; love it!
Me too Geoffle!
Beautiful! Gaudi is one of my favourite architects and, when we were last in Barcelona, I dragged my family around the city to look at his work. They were suitably impressed, especially my ex-builder husband, who couldn’t get over how complex the buildings were.
It was just breathtaking! We had to wait for three hours to get in, but it was totally worth it!
Have they finished it yet :). I much preferred the gingerbread house in the gardens
They’re due to finish it by 2020 I think?
