#NaBloPoMo: It Begins!

It’s November, which means that #NaBloPoMo is officially underway, and for once I’ve decided to throw myself into it instead of hopping in and out.

The idea of posting every day for a month initially seemed quite daunting, particularly as I know that I’m going to be busy at work, so it’s a good thing that this last week has been filled with tales of family and friends, an epic blog party, a break up (not mine), wedding plans (not mine), How I Got Away With Murder and a large hall full of Lego.

However, it’s late and I’m up early for work tomorrow, so I thought I’d introduce you to the newest addition to the household. I bought him this afternoon, and can’t decide a name for him… Any suggestions?

  1. You’ve inspired me! I need to get back into blogging after a crazy October, so I’m going to give this a go. Not sure if I’ll make it, but it’s worth a try 🙂 Good luck!

  2. In the US we do NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month. The basic idea is to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. It doesn’t have to get published – ever – and it can be a pile of crap, but you have to write the 50,000 words in order to win. I don’t do this – ever – but lots of folks are dedicated. I’m going to sit back and observe all my British friends writing furiously on their blogs and all my American friends writing furiously on their novels, and I’m going to enjoy working at my own pace.
May all you writers have a great and productive time.

  3. I’ve been wondering what to do this year since I don’t have an idea for a novel. I may make it national editing month even though it’s originally in January because life has gotten in the way of doing serious edits to my novel from last year. Good luck writing!

  4. Good luck to all the takers of this challenge. This is an inspiring challenge!
The girls post weekly and have been thinking a go at it for an educational or scientific quote a day for a day (or science find) but thought people would bore of it quickly. What do you think. They are pretty young but enthusiastic!
