On Thursday night I organised and attended another event at Organique in Birmingham. Those of you who follow the blog regularly will know just how much I love the store and it’s products – it’s only been open since August 2015 and is the only one in the UK, and in my opinion it’s one of the many hidden gems in the city. The products have completely changed the quality and tone of my skin, and I regularly recommend them to all of my family and friends. I was delighted to find that they have recently been nominated for Glamour awards – it’s great to see such a wonderful set of products start to get recognition!
Despite going to a number of events over the last year, it’s still an incredibly daunting experience. I attempted to distract myself from my nerves by spending extra time on my hair and make-up (which at the minute I thoroughly enjoy doing anyway), to the point where I was almost late.
As always, I needn’t have worried. A lovely group of girlies arrived, all ready and eager to try out the products, eat Polish-style donuts (they were yummy!) and get to know other beauty bloggers in the Midlands area.
I got yet another chance to test some lovely things that I have now added to my already extensive collection. Justyna, the manager, is always keen to demonstrate different products within the store, from mixing different face masks to encouraging us to try the different butters, oils and creams.
There are several products in particular that I’m looking forward to trying:
Macadamia Oil – I have extremely dry and sensitive skin on my arms and this is a light oil that can be applied directly.
Eternal Gold Night Cream, which smells absolutely gorgeous!
I can’t get enough of this store – if you’re ever in Birmingham you must drop in and say hello and take the time to browse through their fantastic range of products. Looking for Valentine’s Gifts? There are some beautiful sets available that I’m sure your loved ones will adore!
