I Wanna Know What Love Is… Blog Party and Competition

image

After waiting for nearly two weeks, the day is finally here folks!

Yes, it’s the mahoosive blog party that Steve and I have been getting all excited about, and what a day we have planned – with a blog party, a radio show and a competition to win a huge amount of Organique products, what more could you wish for?

Blog Party

For those of you who have never participated in a blog party before, the rules are simple (PLEASE READ THESE FIRST BEFORE POSTING)…

1. Choose your favourite post from your own blog. The subject of the post can be anything you love (it is Valentine’s Day after all) – blogging, food, parenting, life, travel, thoughts, photography… Note: This should be only one post at a time or it will get sent straight to the ‘spam’ folder and I may not be able to find you for a while. You can share up to three links, and for maximum impact I would suggest that you wait a little while in between posting them rather than in one go.

2. Paste the link in the comment section of this post and feel free to write a little bit about yourself and/or your blog.

3. Enjoy! Relax, pull up a chair, meet new people! Find new blogs, comment on their posts, follow, reblog and share. Let them know that you met them here!

The party will be going on for the next 24 hours, and you can visit as many people as you like. You don’t have to follow my blog or social media accounts to participate (although you’re always welcome to!) and you’re very much allowed to reblog and share this post across your social media so you can invite your friends! I will also be joining the party in with #SundayBlogShare on Twitter, the biggest blog sharing Twitter party of the weekend!

Don’t forget, if you instantly want to meet new people without waiting for links, I’ve got a whole group of lovely blogging sponsors in my sidebar who would love it if you stopped by to say hello!

Radio Show

Steve runs a radio request show for the online world, giving the opportunity for bloggers to request their favourite songs, and they receive blog promotion in return. I’ve never missed a show, and look forward to it every week. It’s proving to be immensely popular. You can request your favourite love song on Steve’s music blog during the request show on TODAY from 2.00pm – 6.00pm, which he will then play for you, with promotion for your blog. You can also win a selection of prizes!

Want to know more about the request show? Follow the link here!

  1. Hi everyone, I’ve just been out for a few hours and come back to loads of comments about my last post, which I now need to read and respond to. Here is my second post of the day, and as people seemed to like photos of the snow, I have chosen another one in the mountains, only this time instead of steam trains, it is the most magical looking castle I have ever visited. I hope you like it! 🙂 https://chrisrobinsonblog.wordpress.com/2015/12/06/the-cold-mountain-air/

  2. Hi everyone, and happy day to you all! I see familiar faces as well as some new blogs to check out. Exciting! My own blog is a random collection of amusing (to me, anyway) life observations, as well as a weekly “quick and easy” healthy recipe post to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen in order to eat well. My latest non-food offering is here: http://wp.me/p6Wbzk-gW

  3. Like Lisa we’re new to this party scene and have had fun reading everyone’s blogs so far. Sometimes I fear getting “coralled” into a “niche” so this is a great way to check out the new and fresh.
We blog about travel, food and wine – Pork Belly cooks and takes the photos, I write and eat.
Love? Hmm after more than 30 years together the romance is a little threadbare, but we hang on in there.
Here’s a piece about Valentine’s from a couple of years ago – and yes there is cake. There is ALWAYS cake.

  4. Hello everyone, my name is Prathmesh and I am from Manchester. I use the pen name, thepassionatepsychopath for my blog because I believe my curiosity towards science has shown me places that I can now speak about with pure passion. My blog is super new and I have only a small database of curious readers like myself. If you think my forte of writing is something you’re looking for, please come over to my blog and have a good time reading. Cheers to the founder of this brilliant idea and I wish everyone a very happy valentines day 😀

  5. Hi Suzie and fellow bloggers! How exciting to join a blog party for the first time! I’ve spotted some terrific appetizers already. If you’re up for a transatlantic jaunt, check out my blog. I’m a semi-retired teacher and a wannabe photographer and writer. And I adore blogging challenges. Here’s a post inspired by Lizzi’s SIlver Linings (10 things of thankful):

Thanks again, Suzie! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  6. Having just checked out the Organique page I’d like to be entered into the competition Suzie please.

And if anyone wants to take part in our just-for-fun “Jam or Chutney – which do you love?” poll you’ll find it a pinned tweet on the top of our Twitter profile

    Thanks xx

  7. Hello Suzie! I write at A Joyful Process under the name of T. Wayne. I blog about music, sports, life and whatever may amuse me at any given time. Here is a post I wrote for Valentine’s Day about how love is eternal and should be expressed to all, everyday: https://joyfulprocessblog.com/2016/02/14/needed-love/

Thanks for the opportunity to share and to meet new bloggers!

  8. Happy Valentines Day Suzie & all you other wonderful writers & readers! I thought I’d share my very first post. I hadn’t written or published anything since after the Twin Towers. I write one final editorial before saying goodbye to Journalism, goodby to writing & hello to PR & Public Relations. I wrote this because I was struggling with the anniversary of my traumatic coma. My sister & I are like oil & water yet we are connected. I needed to honor her. I also needed to work through what I was feeling. Here it is! I love this by the way! You have been missed! 💋💋! 9. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! My dear Suzie, thank you so much for hosting this international bash!! How lovely are you, my dear! ❤ ❤ For those that don't know me (yet! and vice-versa!) I'm Cher and my blog is called, "The Chicago Files". I am a Canadian living in Chicago & I write about my observations living in this big, American city! The first post I would like to share is entitled, "Profoundness In Aisle 5" http://wp.me/p4doQv-PU

  10. I’m here again, but this time to show off a fashion post this time. I haven’t done any lately, but hoping to get one up next week! 😀

My names Nat, and I run a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog with a difference. I only wear lipstick and nail polish. I don’t follow trends, one minute I’ll dress like a tomboy, the next I’ll dress ladylike. AND I’m a massive geek! There’s a lot of Japan related stuff on my blog, such as anime, manga, Pokemon, and other things such as Deadpool. OH and I love foxes too. 😛

    ENJOY! 😀

  11. Greetings!
This is my first blog party, courtesy of @afternoonofsundries (afternoonofsundries.com)! I’m SO excited to be here! In my corner of the blogosphere I run a weekly book review, a column called “In The Mom Lane” covering topics from moments with my kids to hot parenting topics and share some of my creative writing. It’s a busy place and I hope those who stop by today enjoy it!
The link I’m sharing is the book review that posted today, my first for any indie-published books, and one that happens to be by an author with whom I’ve become acquainted (since purchasing and reading her first book). http://themomwhoruns.com/2016/02/14/book-review-a-man-of-character-margaret-locke/
Thanks for hosting, Suzie, and happy trails! 🙂
P.S. I missed the radio show today but will hope to catch it next week! Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

  12. Hi all, I’m busy gorging on chocolate with my guy on this day of romance and roses. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. I hope you have someone special in your life, but if not, celebrate the opportunities for love that are most certainly await. If your heart is ready, it WILL happen! I cannot wait to connect with other great bloggers! http://yogamatmonkey.com/3-ways-to-attract-love/ P.S. Please enter me into the drawing. Thanks! 🌺

  13. How to describe my blog in one fail swoop?!
It’s a mix of Art, Beer, Garden and Musing with some tunes thrown in for good measure.
The blog is on my art website, so the art featured on the blog is other peoples.
Beer is me tasting it and occasionally telling you how I nearly fell into Fermenting vessel with a beer called Revenge in it. I brew beer for a living.
Gardening occasionally I’ll tell you what I’ve killed in our garden. The gardens I’ve visited and plants I’ve found.
Musings – this generally is more me or visits to places. The madness of someone who used to Pole Vault for fun usually present.
This week my blog is called Bleeding Hearts.
Hope you enjoy and if you’d like to not miss a future post press the RSS button. I’m not on bloglovin or the other blog sharing web places.
    Hope you enjoy

  14. Hello Suzie and everyone ! I love the idea of a blog party yay ! I’m French and I live in Chicago, I write a bilingual (french and english) blog about my adventures as an expat with pictures. I just started, but I will have a bunch of new things to post about very soon! Since it’s snowing today, here’s the link I’m sharing with you : http://fromhometothere.blog.com/2016/02/10/surving-chicago-winter-with-baby-survivre-a-lhiver-de-chicago-avec-bebe/

  15. Hi! What a great, well attended party!
We blog on parenting, family, and life along with a smattering of fiction and the occasional family drama lol.
In honor of Valentine’s Day we thought we’d share a post containing some relationship advice courtesy of The Dude (aka Jeff Bridges).
    Thank you for having us!

  16. Found my way here via The Chicago Files. Looks like fun. Hope everyone’s hearts are being filled with love today. I have three blogs, but the main one –the one I love the most — is a blog about my spiritual journey. Looking back over posts from the last few months, I was pleased it was hard to choose as there are a few I quite like. But this one is a re-do of an old one; since I thought it was worth doing the topic twice, thought I’d share it here: https://bluegrassnotes.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/j2p-monday-the-crime-problem/
Look forward to dipping into the many share here.
