As the self-proclaimed Queen of Procrastination, this post by Helen really made me smile…
*While I was supposed to be editing, on a day I had set aside for editing.
- Made two loaves of bread
- Done three loads of laundry
- Answered emails and comments
- Faffed around on Facebook
- Read other peopleβs blog posts
- Written my own blog posts (including this one)
- Added some scenes to my fifth Ambeth book (not the one Iβm editing)
- Ordered groceries
- Watched a video tutorial on how to make mayonnaise.
- Made mayonnaise
- I also considered doing a writing prompt for someone else.

I might start editing now, I guessβ¦
It was a productive day for you, it’s all good! ππ»π¬
For Helen, it certainly was!
All sounds very familiar… reassuring that it’s not just me!
Aww, yeah The Bloke said the same thing about the experiences of his youth!
Thanks for the reblog, Suzie! π
Very welcome my lovely! X
I find I get through so much when I have a tax return to do π
Haha! I seem to find housework really interesting when I have paperwork to do!
How many houses sparkle come the end of the tax year? π
Haha! I can imagine!
Where do you order your groceries?
Me, or Helen? I just walk to the local supermarket…
How to be productive while procrastinating!
Absolutely!
I can so relate to this. I have several books in various stages of completion, yet find all sorts of ways to avoid getting much done on them; but that is even part of the theme of one of them – no irony!
Haha! I’m sure Helen can certainly relate!
You did far more than I, good work.
Helen’s certainly busier than most – I don’t know how she finds the energy!
I’ve started the last two days with the intention of making notes on a self-editing book I’m reading and somehow I’ve ended up binge watching Netflix and doing laundry. Tomorrow, for sure π
Haha! I’ve watched six seasons of Californication in the last month if that makes you feel better!
I knew I wasn’t the only one π
