Meet ‘The Bloke’ – Instagram Meet and Greet!

imageThose of you who follow the blog regularly will know about The Bloke – my partner-in-crime of the last 6 1/2 years. What you probably don’t know is that The Bloke, as well as being my best friend (and now my fiance after he proposed outside a 13th Century Scottish castle earlier in the year – the boy done good!), he is also a fantastic landscape, nature and urban photographer.

Meet Duncan – The Bloke. Duncan has been passionate about photography as long as I’ve known him, and I’m truly gobsmacked at the stunning pictures that he takes. He seems to have an eye for things that I can’t see, and can easily lose himself for hours with his camera whenever we visit somewhere…

Don’t believe me?

Check these out (you’ll get a better image by clicking on the pics individually):

And these:

Ooh, and these:

And now, Duncan has decided to start sharing his pictures on Instagram

Want to see even more fantastic pictures? Hop on over to his Instagram page, say hello and give him a cheeky follow. Note: only do this if you’re genuinely interested in photography – don’t waste your time doing that follow and then unfollow nonsense… I’m teaching him the fickle ways of social media.

In return, you’re very welcome to leave your own Instagram link in the comment section below so we can all find you!

P.S. He doesn’t know that I’m doing this, so it will be an awesome surprise for him!

  1. I’ve popped across and followed. I’ve only just joined Instagram so am still finding my feet with it. Those pictures look fabulous and having just collected a new (and much needed) Camera on Saturday, I will enjoy checking out more photo’s and hopefully gain some ideas and learn some lessons..

    Much appreciated! x

  2. Lovely to meet the bloke! Great pics too. I’ll do the cheeky follow thing over on Instagram. I’m sure he’ll be impressed with all his followers, well done you for such a lovely surprise. 😊
