I haven’t hosted a blog party since February and with Halloween just around the corner I thought it would be a brilliant opportunity to create a space for the blogging community to share a few links from their blog and potentially meet new people. I always have a great time, with hundreds of links being shared, and it means that I get the chance to find new blogs to follow and catch up on some posts that I may have missed.
Welcome to my Halloween Blog Party!
For those of you who have never participated in a blog party before, here are the rules:
1. Choose your favourite post from your own blog. The subject of the post can be anything you like – blogging, food, parenting, life, travel, thoughts, photography… Note: This should be only one post at a time or it will get sent straight to the ‘spam’ folder but please don’t share more than three overall – spend the time visiting other bloggers instead.
2. Copy the URL
3. Paste the link in the comment section of this post.
4. Blog posts only please! No Amazon pages, YouTube, Spotify or Etsy promotion – I will delete these and any further links from anyone who ignores this.
5. Enjoy! Relax, pull up a chair and meet new people! Find new blogs, comment on their posts, be polite, courteous and respectful and don’t forget to follow, reblog, tweet, pin, stumble and share.
- You don’t have to follow me of any of my social media, but you’re welcome to!
- You don’t have to have been blogging for a specific amount of time or have to have a certain number of followers – everyone is welcome!
- You are also very welcome to invite your friends and you’re welcome to reblog this post too!
This is a really useful way of discovering new blogs, particularly if you have only just joined the blogging world – the general rule that I set myself when I participate is that I check out at least two or three other bloggers for every link that I leave.
Hope to see you there!
You can also find me on Twitter and Tumblr @suzie81blog, and don’t forget to check out my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/suzie81speaks, my Pinterest page http://www.pinterest.com/suzie81speaks and my Instagram page http://www.instagram.com/suzie81speaks.

Late to the party (old habit)
Great description of blogging. I like calling it “live literature”.
My final post. Now that the clocks have gone back and it’s darker earlier, thoughts turn to bed. https://aprilmunday.wordpress.com/2016/03/06/and-so-to-bed/
Hi all, this is my first attendance to a blog party, very excited and great thanks to Suzie for hosting 🙂 I would love to share a post about relaxing: ‘time to relax’. I am not a great writer, but more a photographer who likes to share photos of food, drinks and interior design. I hope you will like it: https://www.thevirtualstylist.net/2016/03/24/time-to-relax/
Now I am going to check out other posts. Cheers!
I would be lost without my cups of tea 😊☕️ Chloe https://pinkiebag.com/

Did weekly Angel Cards this year here is one of them. http://www.youcanalwaysstartnow.com/2016/09/07/angel-card-healing/
Hi all!
https://lizanddanstravelplans.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/day-79-81-san-francisco-and-alcatraz/
I chose this blog because of its content (duh!). I actually didn’t wholly enjoy my experience in San Francisco, so I was wondering if you guys could let me know what you thought of it. I’m trying to get across that I am just one opinion, without seeming like San Francisco wasn’t good enough for me or something.
Could you guys let me know if my tone was OK? And if I seemed unbiased enough?
Lizzy
A great overview of you time there Chloe, https://pinkiebag.com/
Oops. I guess I’m a little more than fashionably late to this party. I guess there was a bit more of a time difference between GMT and PST than I thought.
I blog about both my running addiction and my traveling adventures. Here’s a blog post about my touristing adventures in Seattle, WA. https://ifijustbreathe.wordpress.com/2016/10/25/traveling-tuesdays-seattle-edition/
Hope you enjoy!
Don’t worry it’s on for 24 hours!
So many places to visit, so little time! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
You’re welcome!
I’ve also been training for the NYC marathon, that’s happening in exactly a week! My longest run yet of 20 miles can be reported here:

Thanks Suzie for the great blogging party.
Hello there,
Sometime blogger, regular podcaster here. Suzie was wonderful enough to do an event for us today, where she told us about this party. The event was great, as is Suzie. Now going through and looking at some of the blogs. Great stuff!
I’m a librarian, and the following is a link to our most popular blog to date. When a borrower passes away.
