Halloween Blog Party – Meet and Greet!

imageI haven’t hosted a blog party since February and with Halloween just around the corner I thought it would be a brilliant opportunity to create a space for the blogging community to share a few links from their blog and potentially meet new people. I always have a great time, with hundreds of links being shared, and it means that I get the chance to find new blogs to follow and catch up on some posts that I may have missed.

Welcome to my Halloween Blog Party!

For those of you who have never participated in a blog party before, here are the rules:

1. Choose your favourite post from your own blog. The subject of the post can be anything you like – blogging, food, parenting, life, travel, thoughts, photography… Note: This should be only one post at a time or it will get sent straight to the ‘spam’ folder but please don’t share more than three overall – spend the time visiting other bloggers instead.

2. Copy the URL

3. Paste the link in the comment section of this post.

4. Blog posts only please! No Amazon pages, YouTube, Spotify or Etsy promotion – I will delete these and any further links from anyone who ignores this.

5. Enjoy! Relax, pull up a chair and meet new people! Find new blogs, comment on their posts, be polite, courteous and respectful and don’t forget to follow, reblog, tweet, pin, stumble and share.

  • You don’t have to follow me of any of my social media, but you’re welcome to!
  • You don’t have to have been blogging for a specific amount of time or have to have a certain number of followers – everyone is welcome!
  • You are also very welcome to invite your friends and you’re welcome to reblog this post too!

This is a really useful way of discovering new blogs, particularly if you have only just joined the blogging world – the general rule that I set myself when I participate is that I check out at least two or three other bloggers for every link that I leave.

Hope to see you there!

  2. Good morning, thank you for the opportunity Suzie.

Hello everyone, I’m Kim a romance-suspense and thriller author from London. I’m sharing with you all eight free excerpts from inside of my romantic-suspense novel, published in September. The story is set in London, France and the UK coast. So far readers are enjoying the story and it has some 5 star reviews on Amazon. My next romance will be published in a few weeks!

  3. Happy Sunday / Halloween all! Check out my blonde blog where we keep things real! I record my emotional highs and lows of my writing life and try to get a smile out of you! Suzie’a blog is ace and she’s a fab party host! BlondeWriteMore | The Emotional Highs & Lows of a Blonde Writer https://blondewritemore.com/
Tomorrow’s post is going to be about dating pros and cons with mythical creatures – that should wet your appetite!

  4. Great party Suzie! I hope everyone is having an awesome Haloweekend (that’s a thing now by the way). My head is still a bit fuzzy from spending last night out in the middle of the cold, dark woods watching an outdoor screening of The Blair Witch Project! It was fab! I’ll be sure to mingle with all you little monsters over the next 24 hours! Steve

    • Hi! Just had a read. I looove that you don’t just delete a passage you’re unsure of, e.g. the dancing with a guy sentence.
I can hear YOU in your writing which is great!!
And your partner is probably thinking all the same things as you – “should I grab her ass? Should I avoid contact?”.

      Its all good!

    • Such a great post, I had tears in my eyes. I’m convinced that my grandma, whom I was very close, visits me in the form of a hummingbird. Always when I need it the most, like the day I found out I was pregnant with our daughter after a lengthy struggle to get pregnant. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

  5. Good morning from Chicago, everyone! First off, to the wonderful, lovely Suzie: thank you so much for hosting this awesome party! I’m Cher, & I am a Canadian living in the USA. This particular post is about life lessons described by a very bad date I had many years ago: http://wp.me/p4doQv-16U

    • I love camping less so in the harsh winters but it’s lovely to be outdoors! Your site is lovely too 🙂 !!

      Happy Halloween!
