After seeing some stunning decorations at the weekend, I had to share this post from Cher of the Macy’s Christmas Tree in Chicago!
Well isn’t this absolutely spectacular! I took this photo today while strolling around Macy’s Department store in downtown Chicago. I absolutely love this tree! It is breathtaking and reminds me of a winter wonderland! How beautiful! I had to share it with you of course!

Beautiful I’ll agree. What’s sad is that it’s in the old Marshal Fields Department Store which was a destination for my husband and I whenever we traveled to Chicago. He had lived there for most of his life and since I’m from a University town 150 miles south of there, we went often. Marshal Fields was fantastic and I wish it had stayed Marshal Fields. Time marches on ……..

Ah! Yes we’ll see Macy’s bought Marshal Fields! So the store with the lovely tree is really old Marshal Fields with a new name! Kind of like having Sefridges bought out! I’m ok now with the grief thing! Time does heal! Merry Christmas! 😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️
