Meet Carol, the creator of A Healing Spirit!

Carol is a trained hypnotherapist and past life regressionist who lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and crazy little Maltipoo. She does more than half of her regression and hypnosis work via Skype, and particularly enjoys doing workshops and small group events.

Her interest in working with healing and grief began during the peak of the AIDS/HIV epidemic when she spent more than a dozen years as a trained emotional support worker with the community. Her skills developed further during the years she served as support person to family and friends battling serious disease and facing death.

Inspired by the time she spent supporting a close friend, she founded A Healing Spirit to help others cope with disease, grief, anxiety, and chronic pain. The story of her journey with her friend can be found here.

She holds a Masters of Science from Florida State University. She also holds a Masters level certificate in Integrated Imagery, a hypnosis technique, from Atlantic University in Virginia Beach, the college founded by Edgar Cayce, where she was trained by Peter Woodbury.

Spirituality became a focus after her mother’s death in 1999. Carol’s interest in spiritual matters led her to complete Michael Harner’s training, The Way of the Shaman® Shamanic Journeying, Power, and Healing: The Basic Workshop in Core Shamanism. Carol has taken workshops and courses in trance channeling and facilitated after-death communication. She is also a Universal Life minister.
