London – October 28th, 1988

When Marty arrived this morning with his belongings, it was a sad day that signalled the end of an era. 

Marcus and Marty were the last two to move out of Grassmere Road. It now stands empty, but with lots of happy memories within its walls. I don’t know why, but I’ve not stopped thinking about the place that was mine and four other guys’ home over the last few years. Reflecting back on it, it’s now all a part of our past lives, but I will continue to look forward to what the future holds.

Marty looked much better than when I last saw him. After dropping off his stuff, he caught a train to Manchester where he’s spending the next three weeks…
