My new logo!

I woke up this morning with the intention of simply writing a post. Three hours later I’ve completely changed my theme, removed the ’81’ from my blog name so I am now simply ‘Suzie Speaks‘, added a new logo and changed the colour design, and while I’ve got a lot of CSS adjustments (or rather, The Bloke has – it’s useful being in a relationship with an IT Technician) it’s beginning to take shape. It’s brighter, easier on the eye (despite the fact it’s a little more girly that I orginally intended), but I’m pleased with how it looks so far. However, I’ve noticed that it is looking a little strange when viewed via mobile or iPad, so please stay with me until I get all that resolved.

Similarly, I’m redesigning all my title images (now I have discovered how to use Studio to make it easier to pin and tweet my posts, and I’ll be adding links to my favourite posts in my sidebar, which is now on the left rather than on the right. Next, I’m going to trawl through my posts and edit and delete the ones I’m not happy with. It’s all quite exciting really! Continue reading →
