I Wanna Know What Love Is… Blog Party and Competition

image

After waiting for nearly two weeks, the day is finally here folks!

Yes, it’s the mahoosive blog party that Steve and I have been getting all excited about, and what a day we have planned – with a blog party, a radio show and a competition to win a huge amount of Organique products, what more could you wish for?

Blog Party

For those of you who have never participated in a blog party before, the rules are simple (PLEASE READ THESE FIRST BEFORE POSTING)…

1. Choose your favourite post from your own blog. The subject of the post can be anything you love (it is Valentine’s Day after all) – blogging, food, parenting, life, travel, thoughts, photography… Note: This should be only one post at a time or it will get sent straight to the ‘spam’ folder and I may not be able to find you for a while. You can share up to three links, and for maximum impact I would suggest that you wait a little while in between posting them rather than in one go.

2. Paste the link in the comment section of this post and feel free to write a little bit about yourself and/or your blog.

3. Enjoy! Relax, pull up a chair, meet new people! Find new blogs, comment on their posts, follow, reblog and share. Let them know that you met them here!

The party will be going on for the next 24 hours, and you can visit as many people as you like. You don’t have to follow my blog or social media accounts to participate (although you’re always welcome to!) and you’re very much allowed to reblog and share this post across your social media so you can invite your friends! I will also be joining the party in with #SundayBlogShare on Twitter, the biggest blog sharing Twitter party of the weekend!

Don’t forget, if you instantly want to meet new people without waiting for links, I’ve got a whole group of lovely blogging sponsors in my sidebar who would love it if you stopped by to say hello!

Radio Show

Steve runs a radio request show for the online world, giving the opportunity for bloggers to request their favourite songs, and they receive blog promotion in return. I’ve never missed a show, and look forward to it every week. It’s proving to be immensely popular. You can request your favourite love song on Steve’s music blog during the request show on TODAY from 2.00pm – 6.00pm, which he will then play for you, with promotion for your blog. You can also win a selection of prizes!

Want to know more about the request show? Follow the link here!

  1. Happy Valentine’s, Suzie. Thanks for organising another awesome party. I just popped over to say hello, and I’ll come back later to mingle – I have a busy morning with my girls x

  2. Woohoo! I’ve been excited for this since you told me about it a few weeks ago at the Organique event!

God it’s so hard to choose which post I want on here, but I’m going for this one for now.

My names Nat, and I run a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog with a difference. I only wear lipstick and nail polish. I don’t follow trends, one minute I’ll dress like a tomboy, the next I’ll dress ladylike. AND I’m a massive geek! There’s a lot of Japan related stuff on my blog, such as anime, manga, Pokemon, and other things such as Deadpool. OH and I love foxes too. 😛

BTW I’d love to be entered into the competition! If anyone wants to network and have a natter with me today, drop me a Tweet over @maybeecoffee I’d love to meet some new bloggers to network with, especially if you have similar interests to me. 🙂

    x ❤

  3. Hi there! I’m a food blogger (in my spare time), primary school teacher by day. I blog easy recipes for beginner cooks and try to include tips and tricks as I discover them. I’m a big fan of baking and I love my slow cooker so much that I have two!

My Valentine’s Cake post is here: http://theimprovingcook.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/valentines-day-chocolate-cake.html

Always looking for new blogs to follow, so glad to be part of this.

  4. What a great idea Suzie! Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you’re having a lovely day, whatever you are doing and whoever you are spending it with!

My blog is called PINK SUBURBIA and it’s about my love of all things popular culture, as well as sharing life stories about my gay married life in suburban England. I’m sharing a link to my latest valentine’s day post, as it feels appropriate! Would love it if you could check it out! 🙂

I look forward to reading all these blog posts in the comments! 🙂

  5. Hello Suzie, thanks for the awesome blog party! 🙂 I already see a lot of familiar bloggy faces and many blogs I want to meet for the first time. Thank you for the opportunity. 🙂
My name is Donna, I blog about life, the universe, well, anything that comes to mind, all with a lot of humour. I’ll start with my latest post, for Valentine’s Day (sort of) http://yadadarcyyada.com/2016/02/14/who-loves-ya-baby/
Thanks again, Suzie, I’m just about to pop over to your lovely #SundayBlogShare on Twitter, but first I have to share this (and visit more bloggers). I’ll be back later. 🙂

  6. Hi Everyone,
My name’s Rowena from Beyond the Flow, which totally defies classification just like me. We don’t like being shoved in a box, labelled and constrained. Rather, we like to explore new ground through pursuing the unknown and teetering on unexplored territory.
At least, that’s the idea but while I can be courageous, I am also quite the coward. I am working on a series of motivational books about living with adversity and how to make the best of it.
Last Sunday, I took my daughter to see “Matilda the Musical” here in Sydney. We not only loved it but I was also incredibly moved by it’s very encouraging message. That even if you’re little you can do a lot. Here’s the post: https://beyondtheflow.wordpress.com/2016/02/09/matilda-the-musical-if-youre-little-you-can-do-a-lot/
Thanks very much Suzie for getting the party started.
    xx Rowena

  7. Hi, I’m Phil, if I’m not famous yet, no one should be. If you don’t know my blog, The Phil Factor, you are a sadly deprived individual. No offense intended of course. My tag line is Where Sarcasm Gets Drunk and Lets Its Hair Down. Almost 11 years of idiocy. Yes, I’ve been blogging 11 years. Here’s a good example of what you can expect: http://thephilfactor.com/2015/01/17/the-poop-at-home-people/

Happy Valentine’s Day! (definitely happier now that you’ve found me)

  8. Lovin’ the party, I’ve turned up and bought a blog (I kept the bottle here in case you wanted to visit 🙂 ) With it being a love theme I thought this might be a nice addition, I hope you all enjoy it.

    Doughnuts With Love.

Or you can stop by and visit as often as you like to check out my day to day babble, I’d love to see you there.
I hope you’re all having an awesome Valentines Day.

  9. Greetings All,
Although I’m all for the power of positive thinking, sometimes my inner cynic goes into overdrive. Well, now that I’m a 40 something married person who spent Valentine’s Day taxiing kids around, I am just a bit cynical about this so-called day of love.
Indeed, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Cupid was actually quite malicious and up to no good. So, if you’re Valentine’s Day didn’t go according to plan, don’t take it personally. Blame it on the cherub!

  10. Hi my name’s Drew. I write a little bit of everything on my blog from flash fiction, book and movie reviews, writing tips and anything else I can think of as a creative writing subject. I love writing poetry and each Sunday on my blog is #PoetrySunday and today’s poem is inspired by my cats with a photo I took of them. Stop by and check it out, and I invite you to stay and check out my other posts. Much thanks to suzie81speaks, great idea. http://drewmartinwrites.wordpress.com/2016/02/14/cats-asleep/

  11. Hi Suzie, thanks for your big blog party today! Since I’m a write-daily-about-life kind of guy, I’ll join in with my post from today: Facing the cold with my dear wife Karen to go out for a day-before-Valentine’s Day date because I must go to work today in Syracuse, N.Y. Everybody have a great day around the world. I’ll be checking out some links when I can!

    How cold is just too?

  12. Hi, I’m Jamie! Our blog is about our DIY renovation on our handyman special home, fun family posts and more. Our Valentine’s Day is turning out a little different than we had hoped this year so this is what our post is about. Happy Valentine’s Day Everybody! 💞https://diyadventuresandmore.wordpress.com/2016/02/13/valentines-day-dilemma/

  13. Thanks for hosting a great blog party, Suzie and Steve! I have already started my morning off with some great reads and a few new blogs to follow! I am going to share a post I wrote last Valentine’s Day. Just because this day is about “love, not being alone, etc yadda yadda,” there is no excuse to ho it up irresponsibly with complete stranger, right?! So this is my PSA on remaining chaste through a holiday that preys upon lonely hearts and raging libidos with a little help from my best friends: horror movies!

  14. *slides in through the side door.. Hi all! This is my first blog party so I’m a bit nervous. What a fun idea that you come and your ‘hostess gift’ is a blog post that you leave here by the door. Thank you so much Suzy, for having this! I can’t wait to mingle a little bit… but first a cocktail (It’s only 9:51 in the morning here so I’ll go light). Okay the post I chose from my blog relates to Valentine’s Day in that it is all about the decision to ‘get my sexy back’, and the first morning at the gym… which didn’t go well… and involved what I now refer to as ‘the demon bra’. I hope you enjoy it and happy Valentine’s Day everyone (thanks agains Suzy!)

    … on bringin’ sexy back
